Note to College Coaches
Bio
Head Coach of the Orangeville High School Football Team. Record is 92-31 In 11 Seasons we've had 51 players play in college, with 2 making it to the NFL. We've had 19 Players play Division One, 20 at the D2 level, and 12 at the D3 and JUCO levels. Honesty is my policy and I tell the truth: If a kid is a fit, I say so but if he is not I am honest with all parties.
rrrrrr
Jessie is a for sure college football player, most likely at the NCCAA or NAIA levels. He has some decent talent but is not a passionate football player. He does what is asked and shows up each day but is not an ultimate competitor. He is a decent student. At the next level, he will need to gain 20 pounds before getting on the field but with a growth program or a planned diet he should be able to add to his frame.
Myles was our leader, hardest working player, and captain of the team. He is as focused, disciplined, competitive, and team oriented as a kid can be. He holds offers from Southwestern Oklahoma, Northwestern Oklahoma, Henderson State, and Oklahoma St as a PWO. He will be a first class student-athlete and great influence on teammates to whatever program has him. Will need to redshirt and gain at least 15 lbs. On the field we see him being a second string guy soph and jr years and competing to start his final year or two.
Marquell has only played football for two years. Great athlete but still very raw with his football skillset. Athletically, he is a D1 kid but skill and real passion for the game limits his potential. I think he would be great at a high academic school in the Patriot league as he really prioritizes his studies (4.3 GPA kid)
6'2 1/2 275. Darryl has D1 and pro potential. I do not say that about all my guys. Got 2 sacks against Lance Renson (UNC Commit), 1.5 Sacks and 3 TFL vs Marshall Lowns (Texas Commit). Darryl is competitive and the better the competition the better he plays. He was the heart and leader of our defense. When he was off the field our defense took a huge hit. Great kid, hard working, hangs out with good kids, great family. Really his only weakness is health. Sprained both MCLs on separate occassions and miss 3 games in each of his last two seasons. With a good athletic trainer and good health, there is no ceiling to this kid
In my opinion Billy is a 2 year starter on the back half of his college career. He has a great arm (throws 68 yards from the goal line). He is mobile as well, had a top 5 shuttle time on our team (4.61). His decision making is his biggest area of improvement. He threw 1.9 INTs a game his last two years for us, most of them being over the middle throws where a safety jumps or linebacker drops back. Best case scenario is a 3 year starting career and a shot at the league. His dad is 6'6 and Billy is 6'2 with even more room to grow. Mid American or Mountain West Conference would be best. 3.8 GPA as well, very solid student.
